Who are we?

Marni Spicer is a certified and trained life coach and co-founder of Table Fables. For the past 6 years, she’s been working with Dyscalculians to help reframe dyscalculia, manage maths anxiety and undo the damage that years of feeling stupid can do to self-esteem.

I can’t begin to tell you how much joy it brings me to witness the metamorphosis of my clients. We’re all born with particular gifts and challenges. Growing up believing and feeling not as smart as everyone else has a detrimental effect on almost every aspect of life. Many dyscalculians feel confused as to why they can’t learn which leads to maths anxiety, frustration and limiting self-beliefs. By taking part in the program you learn what dyscalculia is, how it affects you, what can be done and most of all how to overcome the impact it’s had on your development, self-worth and life in general. My clients discover their magnificence, learn how to live with dyscalculia and manage their maths anxiety so they are able to start living their best life.

The Founder of Table Fables - Rebecca Ginger - has children with Dyscalculia. When her bundles of joy started school, it soon became obvious that 2 of her children were not getting maths or anything to do with numbers at all! At the time, there wasn’t much information, diagnosis, or solutions, which caused masses of anxiety and frustration on her part and a tonne of tears and tantrums from her kids. Lucky for us, Rebecca is also Dyslexic and Dyscalculiac which means she has been gifted with a truly creative brain. This meant that Rebecca wasn’t going to be defeated by her newfound realisation - no way! Instead, with help from Marni and others, she set about creating TABLE FABLES, skyrocketing her own kids’ maths learning through the stratosphere and then providing a way to help and share with others.

For me - the greatest gift I get every day is knowing that I have helped prevent countless parents from the struggles and pain I went through on a daily basis for so many years! There was honestly nothing out there to help me help my kids, and that is the most exhausting and draining feeling in the world, feeling stuck and unable to help!
